JOB FUNCTIONS

Associate Veterinarian

Responsibilities
• Performs veterinary functions under the supervision of a Managing Veterinarian.
• No night shifts. No Sunday shifts.
• To be trained as future Managing Veterinarians (expansion).

 

Requirements
• Licensed Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
• Team player. Eager to learn.
• Willing to work either in Cebu City, Talisay City or Mandaue City.

 

Take Note
• Applicant become regular staff after 6 months of work.
• Regularized vets (>6 months) have subsidized annual CPE programs.
• All regular staff are entitled to annual vacation (6 days), sick leave (6 days) & birthday leave (1 day) credits.
• All staff (probationary or regular) are automatically entitled to regular & special holiday pays, overtime pays & 13th-month bonuses.
• Only regular are subject to PhilHealth, SSS, HDMF & withholding tax deductions.
• Normal working schedule at AVCI are Mondays to Saturdays: 9am-12pm & 1pm-6pm.

Veterinary Technician

Qualifications
• Veterinary Graduate (no license), BS Agriculture or BS Med Tech.
• Male/Female. If married, we prefer applicants whose family resides in Cebu.
• Experience is not necessary.
• Willing to be trained.
• Team player.
• Can perform under pressure.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Cebu City, Talisay City or Mandaue City.

 

Responsibilities
• Assists the veterinarian in performing surgeries, vaccinations, treatments & physical check-ups.
• Collects samples and keeps records of patient examinations, treatments & drugs administered.
• Provides nursing care, monitors body functions of patients & performs either parenteral (IV, IM, SQ) or oral therapies.
• Performs night shifts & Sunday shift work. Performs billing & minor administrative duties.
• To be trained to perform other duties related to the practice (e.g. routine lab procedures, ECG, X-ray, serology)

Veterinary Assistant

Qualifications
• At least a high school graduate.
• Male. If married, we prefer applicants whose family resides in Cebu.
• Experience is not necessary. Willing to be trained. Team player. Can perform under pressure.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Cebu City or in Talisay City.

 

Responsibilities
• Cleans and prepares the clinic.
• Assists vet technicians in collecting samples from patients.
• Assists the vets and vet technicians in performing surgeries, vaccinations, treatments & physical check-ups.
• Performs night shifts & Sunday shifts in monitoring patients.

Veterinary Receptionist

Qualifications
• Must have at least a 2-year college degree.
• Female. Willing to be trained.
• Team player. Can perform under pressure. Pet lover.
• Applicants must be willing to be trained in Sambag 1, Cebu City before being deployed to Mandaue City or either branches in Cebu City.

 

Responsibilities
• Welcomes clients and answers or refers inquiries in person or by phone.
• Promotes and explains in-house products and services to clients.
• Performs front office cashiering & minor administrative/accounting duties.
• Performs and maintains inventories.
• Maintains a clean and well-organized working environment.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
